ARRIVING BY AIR
Driving from Newark Airport (New Jersey)
- Follow signs to the New Jersey Turnpike and drive SOUTH to Exit 13 “Goethals Bridge & Verrazano Bridge.”
- Stay LEFT at the tollbooths. DIRECTLY after toll, exit left to “I-278 east.” [At this point the road immediately crosses the Goethals Bridge – then continues for 6 miles (sign will say “I‑278, Brooklyn”) to reach the Verrazano Bridge.]

Approaching the Verrazano Bridge, stay LEFT (!!) in order to use
the
UPPER (!!) level. - Exit left from the upper level of the bridge for the “Belt Parkway, east.”
- Take the Belt Parkway for 20 miles to Exit 25-A “Eastern Long Island” where it turns into the Southern State Parkway.
- Continue for 8 miles on Southern State Parkway to Exit 22‑S “Meadowbrook Parkway, south, Jones Beach."
- Take Meadowbrook Parkway approximately 1 mile to Exit M8-E “Route 27, east, Merrick.” (Route 27 is Sunrise Highway.)
- We are on Sunrise Highway (Route 27), ¼ mile east of the parkway, just after the first traffic light.
