ARRIVING BY AIR
Driving from Long Island MacArthur Airport (in Islip, NY)
- Exit the airport, continuing straight (past the first traffic light at Route 454) on to Johnson Avenue.
- After 1¼ miles turn right on to the service road for Sunrise Highway (Route 27 West).
- After ½ mile, stay left for the entrance on to the main lanes of Sunrise Highway.
- Drive 25¼ miles on Sunrise Highway to Gateway Inn. (We are on the left side, immediately after the very first overhead road sign announcing “Meadowbrook Parkway.” Look left for our red script sign.)
- Make a U-turn at the traffic light to reach the hotel.
